Eight social activists meet with eight of the most popular Youtubers in Israel.
What happens when a popular gay Youtuber meets an ultra-orthodox Jewish woman in one of Israel’s most conservative neighborhoods?
How does a Russian woman, mother of one of the most well-known Youtubers in Israel, respond to her son hosting a Muslim, vegan feminist at their home?
In their new web-series, The Heymann Brothers (“Mr. Gaga”, “Who’s Gonna Love Me Now?”) match up eight social activists with the most famous and influential Youtubers in Israel. These encounters bring together people of contrasting backgrounds and reveal a surprising side to the familiar challenges present in Israeli society, while reminding us once again about people’s ability to connect despite their differences and social stigmas.
